Oligo raises $60M to expand runtime security

Oligo Security raised $60 million, bringing total funding to $140 million. The Tel Aviv company will use the capital to speed product development and expand global sales and support.

Oligo Security announced a $60 million funding round that brings the Tel Aviv firm’s total capital to $140 million. Investors in the round include Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital, TLV Partners and a group of angel backers. Founded in 2022, Oligo builds a runtime security platform for application code, cloud workloads and AI systems.

The company’s platform monitors code as it runs and uses execution-level visibility to detect and block exploit attempts in production environments. Oligo describes functions that identify which vulnerabilities are actively risky in live systems, automate incident responses and block malicious behavior with high precision. The product offers virtual patching to extend the time available to apply fixes and provides a stated capability for zero-day response and mitigation of supply chain threats.

Oligo says the interval between vulnerability disclosure and active exploitation has narrowed, particularly with wider use of AI systems, and that protecting the runtime layer can catch attacks that bypass earlier defenses. The firm focuses on stopping exploits at the application layer and surfacing vulnerabilities that only appear when code executes in production.

Jake Seid, a partner at Ballistic Ventures, described runtime as “where the business lives. It’s where revenue is generated, customers interact with applications, and brand reputation is won or lost.” He added that Oligo protects production environments without forcing organizations to choose between security and uptime, and that the company’s technical progress and customer momentum influenced Ballistic’s decision to increase its investment.

Oligo plans to use the funding to accelerate product development and to grow sales and support operations internationally. The company has targeted cloud-native and AI-driven applications, where rapid deployment cycles and complex third-party dependencies can make traditional patching and testing slower to respond to active threats.
