Beacon Security raised $13 million in a seed round led by Notable Capital to expand its agentic security data platform and scale data and agent capabilities for enterprise customers.

The New York startup was founded in 2024 by former IDF members Gal Tal-Hochberg (CEO), Or Mattatia (CPO) and Iddo Israely (CTO). The company will use the funding to support product development, customer growth and larger deployments.

Investors in the round included AlphaDrive Ventures, Holly Ventures, Jefferies Family Office, SVCI and dozens of angel backers. Beacon said the capital will also fund expansions to its library of specialized cybersecurity agents and integrations with customer environments.

Beacon’s platform collects telemetry from multiple sources, then normalizes and enriches that data so it can be used by AI agents and human analysts. The company describes the system as a context layer that maps data against threats and compliance requirements to identify weak points before they are exploited.

Security teams can run prebuilt agentic workflows or build new ones for specific tasks such as creating detections, conducting investigations and analyzing shadow AI activity. Beacon offers a library of agents that operate on top of the context layer to automate analysis and response while keeping a record of actions taken.

The company says the agents are designed to detect AI-driven attacks and new techniques that may bypass traditional tools. Beacon reports adoption among enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 firms, and plans to expand support for large-scale deployments.

According to CEO Gal Tal-Hochberg, “The acceleration of AI agents in the enterprise is creating a distinct need for a legible context layer for cyber defenders, which is fueling a fundamentally new security architecture. We built Beacon to solve these challenges by providing the trusted data layer that allows organizations to deploy security agents compliantly and effectively.”

Beacon intends to use the seed funding to broaden platform integrations, grow its agent library and support enterprise-scale operations.
