Webinar: Frontier Pace Governance for Endpoint Remediation
Automox hosted a 20-minute webinar on Sept. 10, 2026 outlining ‘Frontier Pace Governance,’ an operating model to speed endpoint remediation as AI accelerates discovery.
Automox and a cybersecurity publisher hosted a live 20-minute webinar on Sept. 10, 2026 at 1 p.m. ET to introduce “Frontier Pace Governance,” an operating model aimed at accelerating endpoint remediation as AI increases the rate of vulnerability discovery.
The session addressed the widening gap between faster detection and slower remediation. Presenters pointed to manual processes, disconnected tools and inconsistent workflows as factors that delay fixes and increase pressure on IT teams.
Frontier Pace Governance was framed as a method for balancing automation, policy and business risk. The model emphasizes improving visibility across hardware, software and libraries, using automation to reduce manual work and speed patching, and converting patching service-level agreements and organizational risk tolerance into repeatable policies.
Speakers recommended applying different levels of automation and oversight depending on endpoint type and business context, and translating organizational requirements into clear implementation plans for operations teams.
The webinar included operational guidance on defining a minimum viable business and identifying the systems that support it, measuring actual recovery times against required recovery objectives, and presenting remediation gaps to leadership as quantifiable risk to help prioritize fixes.
Presenters also covered related security program elements such as attack surface management, the push for continuous asset visibility and inventory tools, and the use of red teaming, bug bounties and penetration testing to validate defenses. The session positioned these activities as complementary to a governance model that sets consistent policies and targets for automated remediation.
Organizers described the model as intended to preserve visibility, governance and control while aligning endpoint operations with the accelerating pace of automated vulnerability discovery.
