Watch SecurityWeek’s Cloud & Data Security Summit On Demand

SecurityWeek’s 2026 Cloud & Data Security Summit took place as a virtual event on July 15. All sessions from the summit are now available on demand for a limited time through the event’s virtual conference center.

Sessions addressed strategies, tools and practices for defending cloud environments and protecting data. Topics included closing identity gaps attackers can exploit, securing the new attack surface introduced by AI applications, where cloud security execution breaks down in practice, and approaches for surviving cloud attacks.

The program included technical demonstrations, an interactive expo hall and downloadable resources. Sponsors and solution providers presented product demos and answered questions in live sessions and the virtual expo.

Organizers opened the event to a range of attendees, including chief information security officers, cloud architects, security engineers and IT teams. The summit presented material intended to help those attendees compare tools and controls and review design models and operational practices for cloud security.

Technical content covered identity and access management measures to reduce exploitable trust gaps, risks from agentic and autonomous AI systems along with application hardening and monitoring, and how complexity and execution issues in multi-cloud environments can undermine security controls. Incident response sessions focused on detection, containment and recovery for cloud-native attacks.
