Risk Ledger Raises $32M Series B to Expand in US

Risk Ledger raised £24 million ($32.3M) in a Series B led by Axiom Equity to expand into the U.S. and build AI tools for supplier security reviews.

Risk Ledger has raised £24 million ($32.3 million) in a Series B round led by Axiom Equity to expand its supply chain security network into the United States and to develop AI tools for automating supplier reviews and surfacing risk signals. Mercia Ventures, an existing investor, participated in the round. The funding brings the company’s total capital raised to £33.8 million ($45 million), the company reported.

Founded in London in 2018, Risk Ledger operates a network-first platform that connects organizations with their suppliers to standardize third-party cyber risk assessments. On the platform, suppliers complete a standardized assessment that creates a supplier profile maintained in real time, allowing connected organizations to view current security information across their vendor ecosystem.

More than 16,000 organizations from financial services, critical national infrastructure, government and insurance sectors have joined the network. Risk Ledger plans to use the Series B proceeds to recruit additional organizations, deepen the shared intelligence available to members and build more AI-driven tools to automate reviews and highlight potential risk signals. The funding will support expansion of operations in the United States.

Jonathan Organ, founding partner at Axiom Equity, commented: “Risk Ledger is creating a category rather than competing in an old one. The network it has built is hard to replicate and grows more valuable with every organisation that joins, which is exactly the kind of business we look to back. The team has earned real trust with serious customers, and the product reflects that discipline.”

Several high-profile supply chain cyber incidents in recent years exposed vulnerabilities in third-party relationships and increased demand for tools that centralize supplier assessments and provide continuous visibility. Risk Ledger’s platform offers a shared repository of supplier profiles and signals intended to replace siloed, one-off evaluations.
