Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – October 28, 2014 – CloudLink® Technologies, a provider of cloud security and data encryption management, now makes it easier for customers to secure production deployments on Microsoft Azure. CloudLink SecureVM has been Microsoft Azure Certified after thorough pre-testing and vetting by Microsoft. Azure customers can now purchase the CloudLink SecureVM solution directly from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace with ease and confidence.
CloudLink SecureVM enables organizations to meet critical data privacy and regulatory requirements with secure virtual machine boot and data volume encryption. SecureVM extends Microsoft BitLocker Drive Encryption and native Linux encryption to Azure Virtual Machines, giving customers visibility and control over when and where VMs are started and full control of encryption keys including the ability to store keys securely in the cloud or in the enterprise’s datacenter.
“CloudLink SecureVM being Microsoft Azure Certified is an important step in helping our customers streamline security deployment to accelerate their cloud projects,” says Alex Berlin, CEO of CloudLink. “Participating in the Azure Virtual Machines Extensions program reduces complexity for our customers enabling easy deployment of encrypted virtual machines directly from Azure.”
“Data security is a top priority for many enterprises moving to the cloud. CloudLink being Microsoft Azure Certified not only makes it easy for our customers to purchase and deploy applications but it provides the assurance that solutions have been pre-tested and vetted by Microsoft,” explains Garth Fort, General Manager of Enterprise Partners, Microsoft.
